This Sunday will see the “new” Sports 1st team take on senior division opponents in Barnwell Rangers… 11am kick-off at Linton Village College, the players will be meeting at the social club for 10am. Sports will be in a changed strip of Black shorts n socks with blue shirts to accomodate the clash with Barnwell’s red kit… Dave Kinzett is expected to referee the game.

Immediately after the 1st team game the A team will be in action against Cambridge Asessement - 1pm kick-off.

We’ve just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We’re told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived. A cardiologist at UCLA tells TMZ Jackson died of cardiac arrest.

Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but he was completely unresponsive.

It looks as though Sports very own Von Trapp family are building a future Sports team all on there own, by the year 2016 the Sports management set up - likely to be Chege still, can pick Clint Burling in goal, John Smiths Burling and Proper Magic Burling at fullbacks with daddy Si captaining at centre back alongside The Undertaker Burling, both wings sees Skye Burling and Brooke Burling with a midfield trio of Lettuce Burling, Candlewax Burling and Wheres Wally book Burling, upfront non other than Burling Burling.

Unfortuantely we have had to change the training arrangments again, this is because several members of the A team are unable to make the “new” Tuesday night slot at the institute, so bearing in mind the costs we have decided to switch this back to Wednesday nights from 7pm at the social club… The session will be primarily for the A team so that Henderson and Lebbon can run the rule over their squad but all players are welcome to attend! The 1st team will continue to train at the Institute on Thursday nights from 8pm onwards….

The A team game against Cambridge Asessment has been confirmed for this Sunday! 1pm kick-off at Linton Village College Sports Centre.
